"Intuition tells us that creativity will become a key word in the near future. The initiative 'Art meets Science and Spirituality in a changing Economy' follows in the tradition of artist such as John Cage, Robert Rauschenberg, Joseph Beuys, Andy Warhol, Robert Filliou and the many others who have devoted themselves to integrate creativity directly socially and economically instead of through works of art."

Being selected by the Mondriaan Fund for a residency period at Louwrien Wijers her guest studio made me a privileged person. It offered me the possibility to learn from her unique experiences (Fluxus) and collected archive.
The signifiers of our time are to a large extent encapsulated and that makes it necessary to develop new policies. I have learned that the 'mental sculpture' has strategic future possibilities. Another term that I include is Joseph Beuys' 'Expanded concept of art'.
It goes without saying that I tried to share knowledge and skills from this research as much as possible, such as at a Focus meeting and the theatrical representation entitled '5-4 = 1' in Ferwerd. This was a public performance in which the Arriva driver was presented as an artist and the bus as a common university for exchange.
My stay in Ferwert was possible by the generous support of Louwrien Wijers and Mondriaan Fund.
