Video performance; Turbulence (2009) by Edwin Stolk.

Turbulence investigates the borders of the human body. By the dominant influence of science in our culture and thinking the human body becomes more and more an object and thereby a victim of it`s own thinking. This performance, material action, tries to study the connected body with life itself. Video performance; Turbulence (2009) is shown in installation: War of Currents (2009) at the Unfair Project at 'De Servicegargage', Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

De performance Turbulence onderzoekt de grenzen van het menselijke lichaam. Waar het lichaam door categorisatie en verwetenschappelijking steeds vaker tot object wordt gemaakt van ons denken, probeer ik met deze performance de verbinding met het leven te onderzoeken.
